you can ask them to remove the charges since its your first time. they will. it only means you can't be late again for the next 12 months.

@Maan: Too late, binayaran ko na :p Also, it's not like I was late for a day or so; I just realized when I got this month's payment that I didn't pay last month's bill. (I actually thought I did but it turns out I didn't O_o).
