Has anyone tried making an Android developer account from the Philippines? Wala daw kasi merchant account support dito, but I see for-pay apps from Philippines sa google play store?

just go ahead and try man. it will be tied to your google account and there are no country restrictions there

you need a developer account to publish apps to google play, but in order to sell apps you need a developer account and a merchant account. they are two separate things, but both tied to your google account.

its not on the list.. and looks like they require you to specify a bank account in a supported country for payment. it's strange they didn't support payment via paypal.
