Anyone here tried to set up a bank account to be able to receive wire transfers? What would i need to do?

nothing, bank-to-bank will take care of it

if you're doing the transferring then you just have to give the other person's bank details to your bank. when you check your account online to do a fund transfer, the new account should be available for selection.
