My mouse is double-click stupid at the moment, so it takes me a few tries to like a post. When that happens, does the person receive multiple notifications?

Exactly. I was wondering if FB batches the notif so that when I like/unlike a post 3 times the OP only receives 1 notif

It wont necessarily be batched though. They could flag likes that come within x minutes of each other as one like.
