I wonder if our society would have more respect/awareness for legal processes if we had more locally-produced legal dramas or police procedurals. Or kahit itagalize na lang nila yung The Practice and Criminal Minds lol. Edit: In addition to respect, I think we also need more awareness. Like, people who get tokhang’ed should know they have a right to an attorney before signing any sort of waiver. They should know that the police can’t just pick them up and drag them to the station for no reason. They should know that they don’t have to let them into their homes if walang search warrant. Etc.

Law and Order: Manila.
Di counted ang "Ipaglaban mo"?
What about that Tulfo show? I bet MMK can incorporate more of this.
ma-enforce lang siya properly, there would be more respect for legal processes
Well, I guess it does, though I've never seen it. Isn't it based on real-life cases though? And kelangan talaga madami. Like sa US, yung network television is full of police shows, I could name like ten off the top of my head
Yes real life based.meron din sa channel 7, di ko maalala title.pero tama, ang konti lang ng ganun
Hindi nga naeenforce e. Kahit mga pulis minsan hindi alam kung pano dapat
The Tulfo show is just another example of people seeking help from patrons. Which is how justice is perceived to be dispeenssed here. Sad.
^ This. I'm also ambivalent about those radio shows where people call in and ask for help/legal advice, especially the ones where yung host tatawag pa sa concerned govt agency para ilakad yung concerns ni caller. On the one hand, they're helping people. On the other hand, people shouldn't need to go through such channels just to get stuff handled.
Roy unrelated to what you're trying to solve, but the problem of too many police procedurals is they turn almost anything into one, e.g. iZombie and Lucifer, which both started life as graphic novels with no police procedural content.
