Because understanding that is a big deal for everyone who flunked math.
It is so that more people can solve them. Solving them causes happy neurotransmitte rs to be released. People become happy and proud of themselves, and this makes it more likely for them to share the article to their friends and followers. This will then lead to a cascade effect in which the end result is more advertising revenue for whoever runs the page that contains the ez-pz math problem. So you see, it's not really about how smart you are. In fact, it was never about you, and has always been about the advertising money. Welcome to the 21st century World Wide Web.
