The thin, unreinforced material makes for intentional obsolescence in that they wear out quickly. I reinforce my cables with those spiral cable twistys you can buy at those cell phone stalls.
Planned obsolescence?
The material cannot take the heat daw. I asked na from the store. Kaya kelangan daw, don't use while charging. Na medyo imposible naman.

Bought instead a microUSB-to-Lig htning adapter from CDRKing. Costs only 100 pesos then (sells for 50 now), works with any USB-to-microUSB cable, and supports data connections.

Can you show me a picture of how you reinforced a cable with a twisty?

You can use these spiral things… they're not that expensive and any mobile phone accessory place sells them.

I see. Thanks for the tip!
Yuz. Easy way to get additional income. Make a great product that can last years. Make that product use a component (charger and cables) that can also last years. Construct said component with one part (thin, easily worn out rubber insulation) that isn't integral to the functioning of said component, but when damaged easily convinces consumer to buy a whole new component.
Bawal dapat sa Pilipinas yung cannot take the heat!
