Maybe companies selling our info and bombarding us with ads are the price we have to pay for all the piracy we did when the internet was young. They know we dont want to pay for things!

Hahahahaha I love this thought Roy. Just to add, the FB business model is the same as the very old one we use for TV, Radio and Newspaper. The audience gets everything for free, in exchange for the ads. Media didn’t need the private info before, but with “customization” , “precise targeting”, in the quest for either more sales or better “customer experience?” Those private info is needed. Going back on piracy, yah moguls of “the internet” already knew what we pirated ever since hahahahaha
