I was probably around 80% asleep already when there came an incessant knocking upon my chamber door. I got up and opened the door and there was a little girl just outside the door who promptly demanded that I turn on the lights because she couldn’t see anything. As soon as I did so she handed me a Batman toy without explanation and skipped merrily back to the room from whence she came with not a care in the world. …now I can’t sleep =/

There are small moments that each person lives for - the smile on a little kid’s face, the joy of seeing your crush when you come in to the office in the morning, the satisfaction of a job well done, the thrill of beating unfair odds, the warm feeling of being able to help someone, etc. It varies person by person but these small moments of joy and happiness, no matter how rarely they come to us make all the stress, worries, problems, fears and insecurities of the in-between moments worth slogging through.

I’m told that when I was a little kid I had the ability to quickly determine what day of the week any given date was, and the grownups couldn’t figure out how I did it. I don’t remember this at all - I probably just did some quick maths in my head or something. Now that I think about it, I guess it’s not too useless.

Set some high-energy song as your alarm. I use “The Final Countdown”
Use multiple alarms, spaced 20-35 minutes apart. Try setting the first alarm to be around 1-1.5 hours before you need to wake up. Adjust the number of alarms and the spacing and the initial time until you find a mix that works for you. You can use different tunes/songs for each alarm.
At one point I had something like 10-12 alarms, two of them were Final Countdown, five of them were some rooster crowing, and the others were alarm clock sounds. The earliest alarm came at around 5 AM while the last one fired at 8:10 AM (which at that time was the absolute latest time I could wake up without risking being late for work)

So I just caught up with Arrow. Great show, especially for comic fans, but something bothers me. (Arrow spoilers follow) … … … So Sarah Lance is alive and is Black Canary. And her father Police Officer (formerly detective) Lance knows that she and Oliver are dating. And he also knows that Sarah is Black Canary. And he knows that Arrow and Black Canary are working together. Yet he can’t put two and two together! This is why he shouldn’t be a detective lol

So I marathoned Gurren Lagann this weekend. That was totally not what I expectd lol. It was fun and way over the top, even though it still hit a lot of the tropes. I thought it was going to get boring after the timeskip, but nope. It got a little weird at the end, but I guess that’s inevitable when things escalate quickly

I finished Infamous 1 but not Infamous 2 coz I kind of got bored with it being more of the same. Would I get bored with SS after admiring the pretty graphics for a while?

When they come out with lists like these, these are just the announced ones right? We can still expect more exclusives announced during E3?
I like that there’s a lot of titles scheduled for this year, but I feel like they need more big exclusive titles to better differentiate from the competition among the AAA crowd of gamers
