I believe in the past few months, Vita has gotten Soul Sacrifice, Rayman Origins and Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed, these are pretty good. I’m not sure what you want, it’s not like we can get Tearaway, that just came out

Also, will my vassals not do anything to defend themselves? I keep having to raise troops myself
Edit: also sometimes i’ll chase away some viking troops and they vanish and reappear a few territories over. Am I unable to see them while they are moving?

Can I attack the boats? I select some galleys and click on the boats but they just seem to sit there after moving

There is no other way to acquire those items other than renting/buying them from that guy.
That being said, do not be concerned by the item rental system, it’s still a ridiculously good game even if you don’t like it.
