Sorting thousands of cards while watching tv episodes is strangely comforting

I don’t get it. And I don’t think I’ve heard of it before.

We built a souped up megrim, yay? Development probably costed it aggressively coz it’s embarassing if such a high profile card didnt see at least some play…

Won’t this lead to some downvote brigades among the top contenders?

All of it is on Marvel Unlimited

We’ll probably get an explanation at the same as the Thanos and Peter Quill ones.
That being said, Thanos mentions in the latest issue of Nova that “Rider is long since dealt with”

Posted on r/comicbooks: Cosmic Marvel question (not sure if spoiler)
Just finished reading Thanos Imperative (great book!). Has it been explained somewhere how Thanos and Peter Quill made it out of the cancerverse?

@barayantan yo, can I ask you to DL something for me?

Just watched Star Trek: Into Darkness. Movie was okay, made better by the fact that I had just seen Wrath of Khan the other day

I clicked through this thinking that it was DC Comics that needed staff writers and was like “Are they running out of creators?!?”

Jinggoy’s privilege speech is actually great!
-
It’s like he’s basically given up on denying misdeeds and just wants to take down as many people as he can with him.
-
Even if all the things he says are true, all of this stuff coming out can only be good for transparency and for catching those who have done us wrong and for preventing similar future shenanigans
Now we just have to avoid falling into the trap of being confused by #1 (which was the obvious intent) and still prosecute the hell out of him and his cohorts

Posted on r/television: What TV series had the best pilot episode ever?
I’m wondering if there are any shows that blow the viewer away right from the pilot episode, instead of needing a few episodes for the style of the show to sink in.
A pilot episode that when you watch it you’re like “I must watch the rest of this show”

The Agents of SHIELD pilot wasn’t the best (but what is, really?), but it was okay. Let’s see what happens the rest of the season

I’m not a fan of recruitment ads that don’t even tell you who the company is. That might be why you’re having trouble recruiting.

I dunno. It felt a bit out of place. I mean, Mike’s being a bit irrational, pushing all his frustrations on Coulson as a handy representative of the government. And some of his thoughts kind of came out of nowhere (like the part about gods), he wasn’t really showing any serious existentialist thinking like this during the earlier parts.

Yes, first the active player gains priority, then when he passes the non-active player will receive priority. This happens regardless of whether triggers go on the stack.
Comp. rules:
- Upkeep Step
503.1. First, any abilities that trigger at the beginning of the upkeep step and any abilities that triggered during the turn’s untap step go on the stack. (See rule 603, “Handling Triggered Abilities.")
503.2. Second, the active player gets priority. Players may cast spells and activate abilities.
116.3a The active player receives priority at the beginning of most steps and phases, after any turn-based actions (such as drawing a card during the draw step; see rule 703) have been dealt with and abilities that trigger at the beginning of that phase or step have been put on the stack. No player receives priority during the untap step. Players usually don’t get priority during the cleanup step (see rule 514.3).

From the Theros release notes: http://www.wizards.com/magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/faq/ths
The type-changing ability that can make the God not be a creature functions only on the battlefield. It’s always a creature card in other zones, regardless of your devotion to its color.

These are different types of players, based on an article written by Magic head designer Mark Rosewater: https://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtgcom/daily/mr11b

Yes it does. An effect resolves all in one go, so Polkranos damages your dude, then your dude damages Polkranos. Only after the effect has resolved will things “die” (state-based effects like being destroyed due to damage are not checked in the middle of other effects resolving)

Mutavault is very hard to kill with Supreme Verdict or any other sorcery-speed effects.
Does not use up a creature slot in your deck, but still gives you a potential win condition.
You choose when it is a creature, so you can use that timing to your advantage. i.e. wipe the board of creatures, then activate your manland to attack.
