Quoted brianklaas's tweet:- I’m angry. I’ve interviewed countless journalists in dictatorships, from Belarus to Thailand, who risk their lives to bring a sliver of truth & accountability to their societies. They are heroes. Trump’s attacks on the press endanger them while endangering our democracy too.

I’m told that Filipinos are still reading books. When I visit other people’s houses I like looking at their bookshelves. What do yours look like?

As my timeline is an utter mess, I request of you this: send me your favorite line of games dialogue or writing, in any series, from any game, in any language, fictional or real - maybe with a YouTube clip or a screenshot, and explain to me why that. Then maybe RT this <3

The SC burning down followed by trolls and fanatics hating on scholars feels like some kind of allegory in times like these

I’m not sure, but I believe this isn’t the first time there’s a fire at the SC in my lifetime

Great chart shows global population from 1960 until today split into urban and rural. In 1960 twice as many people lived in rural areas than in the cities. In 2007 city dwellers overtook rural folks. Source: https://buff.ly/2tiNPpX

Posted on r/tipofmytongue: [TOMT] SNES (?) space shooter where you move around in a circle
I’m trying to remember this game, basically it’s a space shooter (like Gradius) except the POV is from behind the ship and you always face and fire towards the center of the screen and you can only move your ship in a circle around the center of the screen using left-right keys. Probably SNES era based on my murky recollection of what the graphics looked like

Gyruss! That’s the one! I guess I was remembering it through nostalgia tinted graphics so in my head the graphics were a bit better than they actually were!

Quoted tha_rami's tweet:If you’re a creator that’s NOT from the US, Canada, West+North Europe, Australia or New Zealand, respond here with who you are, what you do, & some screenshots, examples, or links maybe.
If you are a creator who IS from those places, don’t reply, and just retweet & explore this.

The only scenario I can think of ATM where I want to go back to the previous column is when I want to modify the indentation of a line to be aligned to the previous column. In this scenario, does your editor not support backspace to go back to the previous column? (I actually had to open sublime to figure out how I do it since it’s so instinctive for me right now)
Or is there another scenario I’m missing out on?
