Britney Spears invented the popular card game, Magic the Gathering, in 1998 to entertain her and her family while traveling to and from Sweden while recording her debut album, …Baby One More Time. Magic the Gathering is based on a fantasy storyline where each player is a wizard, referred to as a “planeswalker”, who draws different types of elemental power from environments which he/she controls (referred to as “lands”). Each player tries to destroy one another by summoning creatures and casting spells.

I’m referring to the House of M universe where Logan was a shield agent and Magneto was some kind of royalty etc. Obviously the stuff in the first issue where they had Scarlet Witch in Genosha and the resulting consequences of the story arc (“No more mutants”) took place in 616, so I didn’t bother specifying
Arguably, since it “replaced” 616 for a bit, you might not consider it an alternate reality, but it’s as much alternate reality as Age of Apocalypse was. AoA happened the same way - it replaced 616 for a bit until they did the Bishop going into the M’Kraan crystal thing to restore 616, but they later showed AoA universe to continue as an “alternate reality”
In any case, whether you consider it an alternate reality or not, it’s definitely not a reboot in any way, shape, or form

IDK what Duterte supporters are trying to accomplish by pointing out that there are also rapes and other crimes going on perpetrated by drug addicts. (a) Nobody is encouraging or cheering on those crimes; and (b) Pinapalabas nyo lang that the police are still ineffective (not the CHR, since that’s not their responsibility)

The API is pretty inconsistent and poorly designed. There’s a lot of articles out there, here’s one: https://eev.ee/blog/2012/04/09/php-a-fractal-of-bad-design/ It’s not very elegant, and features seem to be added willy-nilly. Compare to languages like Python and Ruby, where new additions are reviewed with a focus on being “Pythonic” or “Ruby like” so that the entire language has a certain consistency
PHP is also the most common introductory web development language (since most Apache installations support it by default), so there is a lot of poorly written beginner code in the wild, leading to more hate against the language
That being said, if that’s what you know, there’s no problem with that, as long as you use it well. But it’s also good to expose yourself to other languages so you can see if there are others that you will prefer

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert.
Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
‘My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!’
Nothing beside remains.
Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away
– Percy Bysshe Shelly, “Ozymandias”

As a Filipino living in the Philippines, I can tell you he’s not exactly the most consistent person spewing out reliable statements. Even during the campaign period he had a tendency to flip-flop especially when people call him out, and even his own spokespeople often give different “interpretations” of his nonsenical ramblings. If you believe he doesn’t want to stay in power, you should also believe his threat to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to declare martial law if she doesn’t toe the line, or his threat to leave the UN if they aren’t more polite or something
