I’m not that much of an FPS player so I never really got into the Half-Life series.
Their naming convention is weird with HL2E1 and HL2E2, I initially thought they were like parts of HL2 or something.

It’s the definition of “expert” in the post that’s throwing me off. By that definition, the only people who can be considered experts have to be playing FPS, RPGs, Platformers, and every other genre that has one of the “must play” video games.
Not everyone plays FPS.
Not everyone plays RPGs.
I guess Super Mario Bros. is a given though.
A newlywed couple moves into their new house. One day the husband comes home from work and his wife says, “Honey, you know, in the upstairs bathroom one of the pipes is leaking, could you fix it?” The husband says, “What do I look like, Mr. Plumber?” A few days go by, and he comes home from work and his wife says, “Honey, the car won’t start. I think it needs a new battery. Could you change it for me?” He says: “What do I look like, Mr. Goodwrench?” Another few days go by, and it’s raining pretty hard. The wife finds a leak in the roof. She says, “Honey, there’s a leak on the roof! Can you please fix it?” He says, “What do I look like, Bob Vila?” The next day the husband comes home, and the roof is fixed. So is the plumbing. So is the car. He asks his wife what happened. “Oh, I had a handyman come in and fix them,” she says. “Great! How much is that going to cost me?” he snarls. Wife says: “Nothing. He said he’d do it for free if I either baked him a cake or slept with him.” “Uh, well, what kind of cake did you make?” asks the husband. “What do I look like,” she says, “Betty Crocker?”
What if I don’t really play FPS games in general? The only one I really play is L4D2
So, if tomorrow will be repeats, these are the last day of new sales?
You might just need a new wife! Try telling her a PS3 game was more satisfying than her, it might work!
before 20 seconds ago impossible to buy online as a digital download. Great game.
What do you mean, was it not available on Steam before today?
I find this quite ridiculous!
Apparently I am already qualified to get something called a Bounty Hat, but I do not have Team Fortress 2. I would like to see what the fuss is about and why there are hats, so if anyone could spare the cash to gift me TF2, it would be great! My steam id is same as my reddit username :D
I’m probably not the only one who’s going to come in here expecting one base Zerg with 3 Queens
Ralph Wiggum would approve of this game.
it’s bad if you do drugs, period.
Just curious, what laptop do you have?
To reduce the freeze, kill off the opposing players so they don’t get their turns :D

Are these as good as the first two Monkey Island games? I enjoyed them as a kid but haven’t played the newer ones.
Also, is Telltale Games ok? Do they work like Steam?
It is not like Age of Empires, the gameplay is turn-based instead of real-time, and much more massive scale.
Reading through the manual might help you decide whether to buy or not. Or maybe look for videos of Civ 4 gameplay (I remember seeing some introductory videos to Civ 4 on youtube) to get an idea of what a Civ game is like.
upvoted, but isn’t that this year though? like, soon?
They probably didn’t bother making a child corpse model just for this. You can’t kill kids in the game right? (I forget if this was fallout 3 or an earlier fallout)
It’s harder than you’d expect!

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates is an action-RPG by Square Enix. The original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles came out on the NGC. Ring of Fates is a different game for the NDS, though I guess it’s sort of a spiritual successor. I finally managed to get some NDS time and finish this game last night.
On my way home today I passed by Megamall as usual, and there was a Scrabble tournament going on. I stopped for a few minutes and watched. I realize a lot of people would probably find watching Scrabble games boring, seeing only two geeky people spelling out words at random, not even making any sense. But watching the Scrabble games brought me back to a time when I didn’t have the internet to keep me up at nights.
Scrabble is a game close to my heart, me and my brother Kerwin practically grew up with the game.
Eagerly awaited, the fourth installment of the Ace Attorney series has arrived, with a brand-new leading defense attorney. Of course, not one week after I got my copy, I’m done. It kept me up at nights and made me come in to work late; well worth it.
To those who are not familiar with the Ace Attorney games, it’s hard to explain the appeal of the game; with all the thinking and reading to be done, it’s definitely not exciting to watch. Anyone who’s finished one of them knows what it is though. There’s that feeling you get when you all the testimony and evidence finally come together, and you figure out how it was done but you still have to figure out how to prove it!
Detailed review (and spoilers) follow.
