If I have no special skills, then post-WWII. The economies of the world were just about to take off, people were riding high after the end of the great war, and for excitement, there's the rhetoric on the news about the Cold War to take in. If I'm maybe a bit more talented, 'twould be nice to be one of Leonardo Da Vinci's assistants - maybe I could mess with history by giving him ideas - maybe he'd create a steam engine or something crazy.

The late Victorian era, BUT only if I'm at least rich, preferably Caucasian, and hopefully male :p A lot of my favorite art, music, and literature are from that period. Would like to see what the future holds, but now's pretty good, as I'm more or less adapted for the current period.
