True? False? Hyperbole? Misquote? Joke lang? Out of context? BIAS? Ok lang kasi matapang naman sya? Hindi dapat ako ma-offend unless criminal ako? Bukas iba na ang kwento?

Seriously though, if you’re as entertained by shenanigans as I am, he’s like the gift that keeps on giving. If/when he wins, this teleserye goes on for six years (or maybe 3-6 months lang, if he’s actually telling the truth on that one)

Have you considered that maybe he is deliberately doing this? Naiiinis na rin ako sa mga sinasabi nya, but could it be to really give him public mileage?
Any publicity is good publicity?
Probably. Have you read the note that Dax posted?
I've read a few of them. :)
Dax posts like 10 notes a day!
Haha sorry the one with the conversation between two friends, the whistleblower almost became a part of the media team?
Nde ko ata yan masyado inintindi. Unverified sources and masyadong mahaba, tinamad ako. I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories haha
Teleseryes or sitcom? lol May theory ako na he is testing the waters to know what he can eventually get away with. Parang may escalation of ridiculous things he does hahaha
Parang if I were him, gagawin ko sa isang rally, unti-unti kong gagawing more ridiculous mga sinasabi ko just to see hanggang saan magchcheer pa din yung supporters haha
Well, at least we won't miss Kris. I read that note, Joy . Interesting, but like Roy said, unverified sources kaya mahirap na.
Ah I meant that it's one possible explanation on why he can be this bombastic and free-falling in public. πŸ˜‰
I think part na yan nung narcissistic nature nya e. He likes to say things to work up people
There's also that. It's just frustrating to see people defend his statements as ganyan lang talaga sya magsalita pero if you said it yourself matitingnan ka ng masama ng mga tao. Ang tindi ng double standard.
Theory: di kaya he's saying all these because he wants to project an image that the masses (majority of voters) can better relate to him. People love action stars/macho type. How many senators got elected through this? Maybe all of these are just means to and end. The end being the presidency… afterwhich, his real programs would unfold. Many cheered (or at least smiled) when he admitted on the debates that he would just copy what the others are planning. Sanay naman dw sya mangopya since grade 1. Charming the masses to his side? People hate intellectuals. That's whh he claimed that puro 75 lng sya nun. But in law school he did good. Pasang-awa like common tao, yet magaling sa law school which boosts his qualification. DU30's PR team is good.
Joy - so true. I got a lot of people riled when I speculated "Baka nauna si Mayor"! Even some of my kamag anaks sending me PMs about it. Lol
In short, maybe he's the president the electorate deserves. Which is why I've been telling people that we need to focus on educating the average majority instead of the intellectually gifted minority. Kasi pag di natin naiangat yung basic standard, lagi na lang tayo ganito. Mahirap na din talunin ang cognitive dissonance ng matagal nang committed. Plus there's the cultural groundswell that you can really feel here in the south - people desperate for a Visayan president and willing to close their eyes to almost anything.
Education is impprtant but the voting system could be a game changer like switching to a preferential/ ranked voting system using the Borda count
Well the polarization could have been minimized kasi you have to court secondary votes out of your core supporters so you have to be more inclusive and centrist. The idea is to marginalize radicalism while taking care of the issues of the marginal sectors
I'll have to ask constitutional law experts but most likely cha-cha kasi we might need a plebiscite for a change of this magnitude or at the very least a constitutional amendment
Looks like a tough sell then.
Di ba? How can people put such a high standard on the people close to them but they can't do the same thing for a presidential candidate? πŸ˜”
But Roxas is from Visayas. Sorry just had to say that. 😬 True, the main thing to do is still education or we will always face this same problem every election time. Hirap ipilit ang ibang paraan ng pag-iisip in just a short amount of time. 😞
Yes he is. And so is Miriam, if it comes down to that. But both have spent most of their time away, so it's Duterte the people here feel can really represent them. Ewan. I'm hoping that if he does win, at least some influential supporters will keep him in check.
Otherwise, I'll be eating a lot of popcorn over the next 6 years.
Hindi mananalo si Alan, walang magsasabi sa kanya na "Mayor masama yan"
Interesting input, napa-google ako dun a. I wonder how a Borda count would have affected this election's outcome? Would the polarization between Mar and Duterte mean someone like Binay could win?
Sounds good. What would need to happen to implement this change?
