There is a quote often attributed to John Lennon: “Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.” But does that mean if everything is okay, it’s the end?

It's not the end, it just means that after, old fogies will forever be talking about that moment when everything was just right and how other people screwed it all up.
I think logically, if things are OK then it MIGHT be the end
I guess, hang in there till the outcome is as ok as it will ever be in your perception. Kind of like ending the video game at an acceptable level. Lol!
