Has anyone tried making an Android developer account from the Philippines? Wala daw kasi merchant account support dito, but I see for-pay apps from Philippines sa google play store?

Despite the number of times I’ve flown, there’s still a childlike sense of wonder when I feel the plane lose contact eith the ground. That such an unimaginably heavy machine could be hurtling us through the air at incredile speeds and heights is still a vast accomplishment of science and engineering. And then when the plane hits the ground again and you bounce around a bit and everything is rattling, you wonder whether it’s really a miracle that the entire thing held together during the flight.

Okay, I dreamt I was in a client meeting for a software project, except that the client was an alien who looked a bit like Jabba the Hutt and kept insulting us for being earthlings. He was asking us why we were using Java when it had restrictions for export outside the US. As the lead technical guy I had to explain that the restrictions only applied to certain countries and to certain parts of Java and that we wouldn’t be using those parts, etc. Also, my sleep cycle is completely out of whack

So I took a train trip to Bicol via the Bicol Express. I was really impressed with the cheap fares, the speed of the train and the excellent service and convenience at the station. It had cost me less than a hundred pesos for the entire trip and I didn’t even need to bring my wallet or anything (though I had my id). I was back home by the evening of the same day and gushing about how great the trip was. Then I woke up and found that it was just a dream. That was so disappointing =/
